Nesting SOLD
Nesting is a photograph reflecting maternal imagery. It was a matter of being at the right place at the right time and being able to capture a nurturing environment, slightly hidden from potential harm.
Tears on the Ridge SOLD
Tears on the Ridge is a photograph illuminated by light and darkness. It peers through the branch of an ancient dogwood, covered with rain droplets. Each droplet holds a secret of the women who lived on the ridge.
Art is a vessel through which we can change the world. When there are no words, there is art-woven with light, depth, color and texture. Artists for Peace is a forum for artists to connect and make a collective statement against violence. I feel such a responsibility to create safety and peace for battered women and children. The utilization of the creative experience is one way to promote this message.
