Gone in a Day or Two SOLD
I find enjoyment examining the reactions of part a when introduced to component b in light of substance c. I endeavor to clarify, through the processes of sculpture and painting, the questions prompted by experience and inner reflection, illuminating humanity’s struggles with apathy, individuality, and enlightenment. Working in the traditional materials of wood, metals, and paints combined with contemporary craft supplies I explore the principle relationships between experimentation and process. I draw upon comparisons from science, philosophy, and art history, informing each work with new discoveries. Further influences include the glossy layering and experimentation of 1980’s new wave, post-punk, and alternative music. Information is the driving force behind each new project. I act, responding to my comprehension of history and data, in a sense, documenting the evolution of truth through a language of symbol and color.
