Susan Gonsalez

Suzanne is an artist who enjoys reconstructing things of the past into new and unique visions for the present. Her art training has awarded her a Master of Fine Arts in Photography and Mixed media and she uses it to teach art part time and create the rest of the time. Suzanne has won several awards and grants on the national scene for her art.

She enjoys making art more than anything. Her work is very influenced by heritage, religious art, the female form and recycling to make this world a safer and greener place to live for generations to come.

On a historical note: Suzanne Gonsalez is the great-great niece of that legendary Mexican bandit, General Pancho de Villa of Mexico. She currently lives in the Horse Capital of the World (Lexington, KY),  adores cats (she has 2) and is recently widowed.
