The KDVA offers a wide variety of training and seminars. You'll find some of our staff at conferences speaking about domestic violence, or you may take a training course sponsored by the KDVA taught by our staff and other members of the domestic violence community. The Certification program is an internal program to KDVA member program staff that teaches about handling a job in the domestic violence field.
Other training that the KDVA does is Dynamics of Domestic Violence, Effects of Domestic Violence on Kids, Victim Advocacy, History of the Domestic Violence Movement, Vicarious Trauma, Work Violence, Confidentiality, and Domestic Violence and the Faith Community.
